For many couples choosing among the many Caribbean honeymoon trip packages can be somewhat frustrating. The reason is simply there are so many fantastic choices on any number of islands that it can be a modest overwhelming. The thing to dredge up when considering a Caribbean destination is that it is really hard to make a incorrect scale.
The whole purpose of a honeymoon is to give the newlywed couple the chance to get away after all the plotting, stress, and craziness of the wedding. The wedding is the start of two people’s life together, but all that goes into pulling one off can be a truly draining experience. The post wedding trip may well be the first time they really get to spend quality alone time with each other since well previous to the plotting for the nuptials started.
With all this in mind let’s take a look at some of the resorts that offer all-inclusive honeymoon packages.
Couples Negril, Jamaica: This adult’s only resort is situated on a secluded white sand beach among a grove of coconut plants. It’s a couple’s only playground that offers a wide variety of beachfront activities including, snorkeling, sailing, scuba diving, or just hanging out on the beach all day. And with a central group of bars and restaurants the fun will last long into the night.
Sandals Grande St. Lucian: This gorgeous couple’s only resort sits in a truly unique location. It sits on its own peninsula with the cool Caribbean on one side and the vast Atlantic on the other. With swim-up lagoon suites, 6 gourmet restaurants, and full service spa this one of a kind resort offers a truly relaxing honeymoon experience.
Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana, Dominican Republic: A right romantic haven this resort offers miles crystal waters lapping white sand palm lined beaches. This all-inclusive resort offers everything you need for one price. Elegant rooms, 24 hour concierge and room service, gourmet restaurants, and activities to fill your days and nights in a postcard setting.
Horned Dorset Primavera, Puerto Rico: While not an all-inclusive destination resort this is probably one of the most elegant hotels you will find in the Caribbean. It is tastefully decorated with four-poster beds, brass footed tubs, and opens onto a semi-private beach. The on property restaurant is one of the best in Puerto Rico. It is considered one of the top romantic destinations in the Caribbean.
Tiamo, Bahamas: This is the essential get away from it all destination with only 10 cottages in the whole resort. It is also an eco-resort and generates all its own electricity from solar panels. All food is organic and the margin is grown locally. Their honeymoon package is top rate and includes a candlelit dinner on the veranda of your cottage beneath the tropical stars. You also get a day in their private cove enjoying a secluded picnic for two. And a complimentary Swedish massage for two completes a truly relaxing experience.
These five resorts are by no means all the Caribbean honeymoon trip packages available to you. They are some of the best and most romantic you will find though. In the end no matter what your final destination is spending that time with your beloved will make for some truly memorable experiences.

Spain – Great Tourist Resorts
Posted by Lucas23051 on November 29th, 2010 filed in General
Spain remains one of the most visited places for a summer celebration and with so much variety in coastline and a active rich culture it’s simple to see why people just like visiting Spain. Although it may get a terrible press for some of its tourist resorts there are many wonderful resorts to stay in the country for families, couples and single travelers alike.
Salou is situated in the Costa Dorada and is an ever-well loved resort for families looking for a cheap sunny getaway. The long sandy beaches are fantastic for children and the seas cool and safe for paddling and swimming. The two beaches in Salou have brilliant facilities and opportunities for fill up sport activities. Salou becomes very busy in the summer months and is a favourite with tourists from all over Europe, particularly the French. This is not the place to come if you want a silent celebration but for a cheap and lively family break it makes a perfect celebration destination.
The bohemian resort of Sitges in the Costa Dorada is quick gaining a reputation as a tourist resort for the educated and cosmopolitan. With stunning architecture and history in the ancient town, sandy beaches (one is a designated nudist beach) and lively nightlife Sitges is a place for the young, the fashionable and personnel who have an interest in the Arts. A well loved gay travel destination, Sitges is also family friendly and welcoming to all kinds of traveler – although it helps if you are open-minded. Cau Ferrat museum is the home/studio of Modernist painter Santiago Russino and here you can see his work plus a Picasso and several el Grecos, as well as works by other local artists.
For a silent and traditional Spanish family getaway Tamariu on the Costa Brava is the perfect scale. This silent resort has sandy beaches and shallow waters that are perfect for families with young children. This is not the resort for you if you prefer the louder, busier resorts but is a fantastic scale for personnel who want to experience a traditional Spanish fishing village resort. During the summer months Tamariu does become busier and open air seafront Catalan dancing takes place on Saturday evenings throughout July and August.
If you are looking for a laid back resort for your celebration in Spain then look no further than Sanlúcar de Barrameda in the Andalucian province of Cadiz. Sanlúcar de Barrameda is renowned for its manzanilla sherry and exquisite seafood restaurants. The ancient town provides historic charm and the long sandy beach becomes the place to watch horse racing, as throughout August horse races are held on the beach just after sunset. The place is ambient and atmospheric and makes a fantastic destination for a celebration in the sun.
Marbella is often described as Spain’s St Tropez and certainly the rich and fashionable seem to flight here in their droves. Marbella’s newer area has everything you would expect from a destination such as this; high-class restaurants, five star hotels, shopping opportunities and a cool night scene where you can dance all night if that’s what you want. But the ancient town maintains that unique Spanish charm with an array of historic and traditional buildings, independent shops and bijou bistros. One’s thing for sure you won’t get bored here!

Not too much is known about the Philippines, which is surprising when you consider how incredibly stunning it is. Sprinkled linking China and Indonesia, this cluster of tiny islands features some of the most impressive tropical scenery on the planet, which makes it an ideal undiscovered luxury destination for a sizzling winter honeymoon. Here’s Black Tomato’s guide to these immaculate romantic islands:
For the essential luxury honeymoon it has to be Pamalican Island. This speck of an island boasts empty white sand beaches, coral reefs and a seriously understated luxe vibe: This is the essential go-to for post-wedding peace and unparalleled privacy.
If green virgin forests and mangrove swamps are more your thing we’d like to introduce Palawan Island. Palawan’s pristine coastline is a diver’s haven. Take the nose-dive all over again as you meet the tropical life below the go up.
For scarce scenery look no further than the hilly isle of Bohol (home to the last living descendants of the “tattooed ones”), home to over 1200 cone shaped hills known as the ‘chocolate hills’ so called due to the colour they go in the summer months. Swap the flip flops for practical footwear to trek this surreal landscape.
Ok, so it wouldn’t be a truly luxurious honeymoon without one final beach stop: Step onto the sands of the liveliest of the Philippines’ islands: Boracay. End your honeymoon in right celebration style at one of Boracay’s legendary beach parties.
